This is my new artwork for http://www.artinthecity.co I am currently organising a trail of artists work to go in the shops of Wolverhampton town centre. I have produced this work: Departures (One Way) for the Asylum Gallery which has recently opened in the Chapel Ash area. The trail runs from 3 – 10 October 2014.
I am working on my new painting Cosmic girl. I have used acrylics underneath and then oil on top as the colours are so much brighter. For some reason this has taken a lot longer than anticipated.
This is the start of my new pencil drawing with decoupaged flowers, butterflies and birds. I have been inspired by a trip to Prague where I saw the beautiful drawings of Alphonse Mucha.
I am managing an art project in Wolverhampton http://www.artinthecity.co which will run from October 3rd-10th 2014. I will have some work on display at Huckleberry’s clothing shop. Here are some of my soup label designs I am working on a Twiggy and James Dean design too.
After a week of moving and working till midnight most nights my new studio is ready to use. The light was streaming in all day and it was lovely to watch the activity outside.
