My Gallery, White Bee was at the Royal oak, Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton yesterday as part of The Junction Festival of contemporary art. Which runs for three day 3rd – 5th July. I invited artists I have know for a long time to join me there and the exhibition was organic in nature and grew throughout the day, we had a great time setting up and enjoying the lovely real ale they serve.

Silence Mixed media on canvas. Size: 26 x 31 inches Price: £150.00
I have based this new artwork on the film The silence of the lambs. I didn’t want to use too obvious motifs and have used some of my other artwork in this painting: e.g Anne Boleyn and some anatomical drawings. I have used Oils for the background with gold leaf and decoupage to add depth.
Anne Boleyn (Part Of Me) Pencil drawing Price: £350.00
Finished drawing of Anne Boleyn with decoupaged motifs. I have burnt part of the paper and stained with tea and coffee to age it. The words are from Anne Boleyn quotes and love letters sent from Henry VII.
I have been busy in the studio finishing off my second pencil drawing of Anne Boleyn. I am using tea and coffee to stain the paper to age it. I will be setting fire to it and placing text and a few collaged motifs to finish it off.
