This is my new painting Event Horizon based on a black hole.  I have been reading Stephen hawking’s book, Black holes and baby universes, this painting is inspired by it, although some of it makes for difficult reading.

Belinda Maria Longsden

My artwork is based on everyday images and objects which surround us. I want to bring the viewers attention to the beauty in the everyday object by changing the way we see them. The way the artwork is realised is unimportant to me as long as the method I employ portrays the idea.
