Granddad’s Garden September 16, 2013 • Belinda Maria Longsden Granddad’s Garden SOLD This painting is based on time spent with my Granddad in his greenhouse. I have used layers to create the camouflage pattern as I didn’t want the whole painting to be read all at once. Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...

What a nice inspiration. My grandad had a veggie garden lined on one side by peonies, which he would pick and smell all day long. You have achieved your layered perception goal, very engaging!
That sounds wonderful, such great memories. I want to create a smell which is like the inside of Granddad’s greenhouse, but I haven’t achieved it yet. BX
Very nice colourful work
Thank you Hanno. Glad you like it. BX
It is really great
Love this, can you tell me
If it’s for sale and the price please?
Hello Leon, yes it is for sale £550.00. I’m glad you like it. It is on display at wolverhampton art gallery until January.
Thank you for letting me know. That’s where I saw it and it’s fantastic, fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.
I will look at making it a purchase but maybe in the new year if it’s still available then….
Hi Leon. No worries. My studio is behind the art gallery if you wish to come over at any date in the new year.
