Progress on Che Guevara painting

I have turned the painting of Che Guevara from portrait to landscape as I think the composition looks better.  I will be altering the pink flowers as I don’t think they are working.  I want to make the foreground look nearer so I am going to use lighter colours going darker towards the background.  I have sanded down the oil glazes so the underneath layer can be seen in parts.  Photo is not the best quality but wanted to share the progress so far.
