I have sold two artworks this week.  Nothing else can save me (2) which is based on Marie Antoinette’s time at Le Petit Trianon.  I have used found objects including beads and small wooden blocks, which have images of nature on.  I also used images from vintage comics, scrabble letters and playing cards.  True Colours (2) is an upcylced frame from a charity shop.  I have gold leaf the framework which was sprayed neon pink.  I sourced the images from encyclopedias and nature books.  This artwork has many layers using spray paint, dripped paint and then finally oil glazes to finish.
